The problem
Enterprises cannot trust AI agents. IT cannot see what systems and data their AI touches, security cannot track who granted those permissions, and compliance cannot prove what the agent actually executed.
The vision
Avanor is building the system of record for AI-agent governance: an append-only record of what agents tried to do and how it was judged, where the actions a policy denies at the enforcement gate are sealed onto a hash chain an outside auditor can verify, plus every system and data source it touches and who granted its permissions.
Current status
Pre-revenue by design. The MVP (tamper-evident audit log, four-eyes kill-switch, RLS tenant isolation) is built and demo ready, with V1 launching soon, built solo on ~$100/mo. A $45K paid design partnership and pilot with a 2,800-person enterprise SaaS company is in internal review: no signed pilot and no revenue yet. Customer discovery is active with Heads of GRC and AI-forward security teams in regulated verticals.
The round
Raising $1.25M (Post-money SAFE, $7M post-money cap) to hire a founding engineer, scale GTM and GRC, and complete SOC 2 and security investments.

Logan Bell has founded three companies from zero. Before Avanor he grew a bartending business from $500 to over $150K a year with a team of 11, built the occupancy-based sales system WeWork adopted across all 163 global locations, secured 17 campus dining contracts with a $4M projected revenue pipeline as Head of Growth at Brewbike, and took Duro, a fitness community marketplace, from concept to the App Store and web.
Avanor applies that pattern to AI governance. He designed and built the platform end to end, solo and self-taught, on ~$100/month: a tamper-evident audit log, a two-engine policy layer, and RLS tenant isolation, built and demo ready with V1 launching soon. He is an AI-native technical founder with a hybrid go-to-market and full-stack engineering background, now shifting toward product and founder-led sales.
The work has already drawn a senior bench under signed terms: a security and privacy advisor from companies with major exits, and a GTM and GRC lead who holds the IAPP AI Governance Professional (AIGP) credential and is converting to full-time on close.
